In 2019 she was one of the first in the country to receive Board Recertification by the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy. She is one of only few who specializes in women’s and men’s pelvic floor dysfunctions.
Deena received a bachelor’s of science degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis, and in Health Science graduating Magna Cum Laude in Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge. She completed a 3 year program in Integrative Body Psychotherapy from the IBP Central Institute in Los Angeles, and is currently on their teaching staff. In addition, she is Biofeedback Certified by the International Alliance and uses many of her mind-body exercise techniques to assist her clients in lowering anxiety, decreasing pain, and providing them with tools that will allow them to have a sense of well being in their body.
