Delaney grew up in Aledo Texas. She was chasing her dreams of becoming a model and was being scouted by D1 colleges to play volleyball. In 2014 when she was 16 she was with some friends at a bonfire and something went wrong. She wound up suffering third and second degree burns on her face and body. Determined not to let these injuries stop her from pursuing her ambitions in life she found ways to overcome the tragedy and heal mentally and physically.
