Alison is a resident of Denver, Colorado and mother to two young adult cancer survivors. It is her hope that by sharing their unique story, she can help others be diagnosed earlier and have less damaging treatments. Only 4% of federal funding goes to researching childhood cancers, thus many children and young adults are left without hope. If they survive, they are often left with lifelong damage done by brutal treatments meant for adults. It is her hope that they can save each child’s life while also giving them a future.
