Gina Lombardi is a celebrated personal trainer, media personality, inspirational speaker, author, TV show host and podcaster. With over 60,000 hours of one-on-one, personal coaching, including many high-profile celebrities and entertainment executives, and nearly 30 years of media coverage, Gina is one of the most sought-after wellness experts around the globe. She is known for her integrity, heart and unique ability to present the truth about health and fitness and offer realistic and attainable solutions.
Gina is the creator/host of Fit Nation, the only investigative reporting show on Discovery Health. A frequent health expert and contributor to many entertainment/talk shows, she has been featured on The Talk and EXTRA! as a “lifechanger,” sharing her results-driven exercise tips for shaping the body. She also served as a TV spokesperson for both “Health” and “Shape” magazines and was the main fitness expert for the Weight Watcher’s “Start Getting Healthy” DVD series. Gina co-hosted the popular Weekend Workout Radio Show and was an expert judge for The Miss America Organization Pageant. She is currently co-creator/co-host of the podcast Health Interrupted, with former Miss America Laura Kaeppeler.
An accomplished author, Gina wrote the books “How to be Successful as a Personal Trainer,” “The Stability Ball Quick Series” and “Deadline Fitness,” which reveals her signature health and diet programs used with celebrity clients when time is of the essence. She was also a contributing editor for msnbc.com’s Celebrity Fit List.

Gina was invited to take part in a special development team at the National Strength and Conditioning Association to create a nationally accredited certified personal trainer program. She has served on the NSCA’s Examination Development Committee, chaired the Personal Trainer Committee for five years, received an award from the NSCA for her contribution and work devoted to the Personal Trainer Program and contributed as column editor for The Journal of Strength and Conditioning’s “One-On-One” section for personal trainers. Gina was named 2003 “Personal Trainer of the Year” by the NSCA for her proven expertise and experience in weight training, advanced program design, nutrition, weight management and current fitness trends. Her cherished work with the U.S. Navy Seal Teams in their Family Resiliency program earned Gina their most prestigious certificate of “exceptional service and unsurpassed dedication achievement” from the Seal Team Four Command Master Chief. Heralded as a “dynamic and relatable speaker who gets down to the grit of the matter,” Gina has presented to audiences in the U.S. and across the globe, including Japan, Australia and Europe. She has captivated audiences of 100 to 100,000, with her honest and life-changing presentations on weight loss, fat loss, exercise and nutrition.
An honors graduate from the University of Pennsylvania in Dental Hygiene/Health Science, Gina holds certifications in personal training from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), the University of Southern California at Los Angeles and has achieved certificates in Post-Rehabilitation Conditioning and Weight Management.
She is also an accomplished stunt woman and is proficient in kickboxing, boxing, weight lifting, rock climbing, mountain biking and many other sports. However, her most important role is wife to Actor/Producer Kevin Sizemore and extremely proud mother of their 16 year-old son, Gunnar.
